Me, Myself and I

I thought I would stop for moment of reflection and talk about myself (hmmm that sounds big headed). Although my reasons for starting this blog have already been stated, I thought it would be useful to explain a bit more about myself.

So in the style of 'This Is Your Life' here goes

I was born in Glasgow in 1986. My Dad is a Celtic fan who missed going to Lisbon due to being too young but was in Feeynoord two years later to witness Celtics second European cup final. So i suppose you could say he was used to glorious failure from a young age. As for my Mum, well she isn't interested in football so theres not much point discussing her in this post. Except to say she makes brilliant Gingerbread.

My childhood was pretty normal to be honest, i haven't grown up to be a mass murderer or fundamental Christian so i can't really complain. I do still miss Thomas The Tank though.........

At the moment I'm 21 (22 in October so I'm happy to received cash or cheques) and work in Edinburgh for a Insurance Company, its not the most exciting job in the world but the wage is reasonable and it helps fund my alcohol consumption. On Saturday's you'll find me at Celtic Park and on Sunday's you'll find me nursing a hangover.

To sum up, I'm basically a failed English student who spent a year at University before realising that the parties and drinking are more interesting than doing actual studying. So i guess this blog is an outlet for my frustrated inner Shakespeare.

And errr that's it.

Ok, not the most exciting of life stories but i thought id tell you anyways. I apologise that the writing may be slightly dodgy but i promise it will improve over time!
